Current experience

I’m a principal content designer on the Experience Team at Charter Communications - specifically within Spectrum Business for enterprise. I lead content strategy across customer-facing products and internal tools, partnering cross functionally with product, design, accessibility, research, engineering and development teams.

A way with words

If you’re looking for a “full stack” writer, you found your girl. Like many content designers, my relationship with words is deep and wide. While I’m firmly planted in UX content design today, my professional writing journey consists of communications, story production, digital content, editing and instructional design and content development.

I've built content style guides and governance models adopted by product design, CX, service design and communication teams, increasing consistencies at various touch points and improving customer confidence. My ability to listen, collaborate and advocate for friction-free experiences has transformed the role of content strategy within my organization.

The power of story

I believe every business problem can be solved by starting with unraveling the story. Stories align teams on goals, blockers and opportunities. I study the nuances of storytelling frameworks, attend story conferences, mentor team members on the art of storytelling in business and held positions entirely focused on storytelling. I firmly believe that if businesses slow down, look at the data to find the story that is being told and decide what needs to change, they can make a significant positive shift in experience.

Outside of work

I call Wisconsin home. Hiking in the driftless region, spending long days at the lake and enjoying the German beer and cheese culture is magic. I cheer for Bucky and the Packers like any good Wisconsinite and am thankful I get to experience the “Midwest nice”.

I volunteer with organizations that work to advance medical research. Here are a few groups I’m proud to work with.
