I'm a principal content designer at Spectrum Business, leading content strategy and the content design team across customer-facing digital products, emails and internal tools. Systems thinking shapes how I approach content design. Working in a technical environment means the focus on taxonomy, governance and content standards make future work more consistent. My superpower is connecting the dots across cross-functional teams and proving the impact of strategic content. AI is increasingly shaping how we work, and I use agentic and generative workflows regularly in my practice.

My background spans communications, story production, content development and information architecture. That foundation shapes how I think about content. Clear, intentional content is the thread that runs through every customer touchpoint.

Research advocacy and advisory

I collaborate with organizations that work to advance medical research as a patient voice advocate and advisor. I serve on advisory committees and have contributed to research grant proposals, keeping patient voice and content accessibility central to the work. Clear, accessible communication and human-centered design thinking matter just as much in research as they do in product, and I am equally passionate about and invested in this work.

    ClinGen is an NIH-funded precision medicine research initiative. I contribute patient and caretaker voice and content accessibility expertise to help ensure research communication reaches and serves the people it's meant for and contributing to it is clear and accessible.

  • US Department of Defense: Breast Cancer Research Program - Consumer Reviewer
    The BCRP funds high-impact breast cancer research. As a consumer reviewer, I evaluate research proposals through a patient lens, ensuring the work remains grounded in real patient experience and need.

  • UW Carbone Cancer Center - Breast Cancer Research Advisory Network (BCRAN)
    BCRAN builds partnerships between advocates and scientists to enhance the relevance of research to patients with breast cancer. I bring patient perspective and communication expertise to help refine grant proposals and as a named participant.

Where you’ll find me

I love calling Wisconsin home. With our four seasons, there’s always something fun to do outside. Spending long days at the lake and enjoying our beer and cheese culture is magic. Of course I cheer for Bucky and the Packers, and I’m so thankful to be a part of the Midwest nice.
